If you're NOT handy you can probably still do it, but it may be worth paying someone. The install - so - I would say its pretty simple - but I'm a handy guy. You can easily control just about everything, do schedules, check status, etc, etc. Once the screen logic is installed controlling your pool is SOOOOOOO much easier. and dont get me started on actually doing any scheduling at the actual keypad. Okay first off - I'll say that if you have a pool with added features, lights, valves, heater, pumps, etc, etc that you want to be able to control EASILY - then you need this! It's a pain in the but having to go over to the PENTAIR EasyTouch and pushing buttons to turn things on/off.
